David Whitman

Dr David Whitman is a percussionist, recording artist, composer, and educator. He has toured, performed, or recorded with numerous ensembles such as The Who, Geoffrey Keezer, Peter Townshend, Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, San Diego Symphony Orchestra, Eau Claire Chamber Orchestra, and more. David's debut albums as a leader, "Oh, Clara!"(2016) and "Soul Flow"(2018) were recognized by the Independent Music Awards and Global Music Awards in categories for production, composition, jazz, album, and song.

When David is not recording or performing, he can be found teaching at the San Diego State University or working on his craft. David's dedication and mastery of his craft has inspired many young musicians to follow in his path. David is a proud REMO Artist.
